BC PROVINCIALS 2024
Students Joshua Wang, Rami Pan, and Selena Wang were each selected by their local competitions as their top players and nominated to represent their organizations at the BC Provincials in Fort St. John. Joshua placed 1st in the Junior B Class and Rami placed 1st in the Canadian Class. Joshua was then selected as one of the top players to represent BC at the Western Canada Finals.
CANADIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024
Every one of our studio's entries made it onto the podium of this Canadian music competition.

VANCOUVER AREA YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL 2024
Our studio's results at this competition include 7 Platinum (95%+ score) and 34 Gold (90-94% score).

Selena Wang was the Junior A Provincial winner. Joshua Wang was the top Senior Division winner. Davis Li was the top Intermediate Division winner. Jamie Lei and Amy Chen tied for top Junior Division Winner. In total our studio won 15 Division Awards.
VANCOUVER KIWANIS MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024
Our studio once again had fantastic results:
FIRST PLACE = 23
SECOND PLACE = 19
THIRD PLACE = 8

16 of the 23 first place finishes were Overall Winners beating all other classes in the group. Students Selena Wang, Joshua Wang, Rami Pan, and Matthew Liu also received a total of 14 Division Awards
COQUITLAM DISTRICT MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024
Our studio once again had amazing results:

Joshua Wang, Davis Li, Ethan Yee, and Rami Pan won 6 of the available 18 trophies including Top Junior, Top Intermediate, and Junior B nominee to the BC Provincials.

UNITED STATES OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION 2024
Grace Cheng is the 1st place winner and scholarship recipient in two divisions of this American music competition. She was then invited to perform in concert in California.

ROYAL CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC GOLD MEDAL CEREMONY
RCM Gold medal winners Joshua Wang, Selena Wang, Kelly Zhang, and Ethan Yee were invited to perform at the annual RCM Gold Medal Awards Concert at the Chan Centre.
RICHMOND MUSIC FESTIVAL 2023
Our studio received 20 First Place Certificates and 7 Division Awards. Division winners and Gala Concert invitees were Rami Pan, Jolene Wang, Ethan Yee, and Davis Li. Rami Pan took the top intermediate award of Intermediate Division Overall Trophy Winner.
PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PIANO COMPETITION 2023
Selena Wang and Davis Li are the 1st place winners in the Intermediate and Junior Divisions. Both placed 1st overall in the preliminary round with marks of 99% and 98.5%. They then went on to place 1st at the gala finals.
CMC 2023 BC WINNERS GALA CONCERT
11 year old Rami Pan and 9 year old Joshua Wang were invited to perform at the CMC Gala Concert at Vancouver's Annex Theatre after having won 1st and 3rd place at the National Finals in Toronto earlier this year.
AMY CHEN'S CARNEGIE HALL DEBUTE
Six year old Amy Chen was invited to perform at New York's Carnegie Hall after winning the Steinway Piano Competition. This was her first performance at this prestigious venue but won't be her last. Congratulations Amy.
VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION
Rachel Wang is the age 9-12 Division 1st place winner of this very prestigious and talent packed competition. She is also the overall 3rd place winner across all piano divisions winning the VIMC trophy and $500 scholarship.

Joshua Wang is the age 9-12 division Silver recipient.
RCM 2022/2023 GOLD MEDALISTS - 5 WINNERS
Joshua Wang is the National Gold Medalist for achieving the highest mark in the country.
​
Selena Wang, Kelly Zhang, and Ethan Yee are also Regional Gold Medalists for achieving the highest marks in the BC/Yukon region. Ethan Yee won two gold medals.

MUSIC DREAMER - TAIWAN NATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION
Rami Pan Placed 1st in this Taiwanese National Piano Competition.
STEINWAY PIANO COMPETITION
Amy Chen is the Steinway Piano Competition 2023 Division 1 (6 and under) 1st Place Overall Winner. She will now go to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York in October.
CANADIAN MUSIC COMPETITION 2023
Rami Pan placed 1st at the National Finals in Toronto and is the 10 and under National Champion.
Joshua Wang placed 3rd in the 9 and under group.

Kelly Zhang, Queena Bao, and Luna Ogawa were also National Finalists.

OYMI PIANO COMPETITION
Students Amy Chen, Joshua Wang, and Rami Pan participated in this piano competition. With nine pieces of music they won six 1sts and three 2nds.

IPPA INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION
Our studio won 2 golds and 7 silvers at the regional round. Joshua Wang went on to place 2nd at the International Finals.
VISM MUSIC FESTIVAL
Our studio entered the concerto section of this competition and won numerous Overall Winner titles including Top Prize Concerto Trophy Winner Joshua Wang and Top Prize Intermediate Division Trophy Winner Rami Pan.
VAYA LIVE PROVINCIAL CLASS
5 of our students won awards and scholarships at this competition including Cyrus Li who was nominated as the VAYA Junior A delegate to the BC Provincials.

OCTOBER RECITAL
In order to properly train our kids for competition our studio holds 5 recitals each year as well as mini studio recitals. The kids get a chance to try out new repertoire and then have food and socialize afterwards at the reception. Always a fun time for everyone. Come take a look at our recent October recital held at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
RCM GOLD MEDALISTS - 2022
Jaclynn Zhang and Selena Wang are the 2021/2022 Royal Conservatory of Music Gold Medalists for achieving the highest piano exam marks in the BC/Yukon region for their grades, beating thousands of other candidates. Both girls have been invited to receive their prestigious awards and to perform live in concert at Koerner Hall in January.
CANADIAN MUSIC COMPETITION 2022
Joshua Wang placed 1st at the National Finals in Quebec and is the 8 and under National Champion.
CDMF, VKMF, VAYA COMPETITIONS
Check out our studio's fantastic results at these 3 piano competitions. A combined 36 first place finishes at the CDMF and VKMF, 21 Platinums at the VAYA, and 48 divisional awards across all three competitions.
CANADIAN MUSIC COMPETITION NATIONAL FINALISTS
Congratulations to Kelly Zhang, Jayden Cheang, Joshua Wang, Harper Ren, Amy Chen, and Queena Bao on making it through the first round. Our studio sent six kids and all of them made it. Good luck at the National Finals in Quebec!

Joshua Wang is the winner of the Royal Conservatory of Music's Gold Medal for achieving the highest mark in the province on his grade 3 exam - 96%. Congratulations Joshua!
